ABOUT ME
My academic credentials include a first-class honours degree and doctorate in biochemistry, both from the University of Oxford, UK, which have equipped me with a rigorous scientific understanding that I bring to bear on all my projects. I contributed to several peer-reviewed publications during my time in academia.
Originally from the UK, I am a native English speaker, currently based in Berlin, Germany. I work with a variety of regional and global clients and can travel nationally and internationally as needed. I am a member of the European Medical Writers Association.
I have more than 12 years of experience developing high-quality written materials for the pharmaceutical industry, academia and healthcare professional associations. My project experience is diverse and ranges from complex technical documents such as manuscripts and study protocols, to more creative media like interactive e-learning and infographics. Equally wide-ranging is my therapy area knowledge, although I have increasingly specialised in oncology in recent years.
As a freelance medical writer, I understand that my clients require me to rapidly assimilate complex scientific information and summarise, synthesise and present the material in a format and language appropriate for the target audience.
